Billboard Covers
Billboards should be used for an ongoing message that is conveyed over time.  They ought to be large and easily readable from a distance and  they have to avoid confusing messages.  The boards should also attempt to include pictures, preferably of people who attend the school.

TV Commercials
TV Commercials are a fun way to promote your schools.  This option may seem a bit expensive for your school.  But with some work in negotiating this way would be a positive way to promote your school in TV.  Contact Kyle Jensen at jds@deskmedia.com.

  Newspaper Inserts
Newspaper ads were discussed with alot of interest because a lot of were considering using them in an upcoming campaign.  Color was mentioned as being improtant if the newspaper allowed your ads to be in color.  Uniqueness and big letters were two ideas that are particularly suggested in order to grab a reader's attention.  It was also seen as important to include your logo and school motto.  Newspapers were seen as a way to bridge the graps between your other marketing activites in ways to keep the public aware of what you are doing.  Finally, large ads were suggested to allow schools to collaborate on promotions for big multi-school events.

 Floats

Floats are an unique way of promoting your school.  They should include students, faculty, boardmembers, and parents walking or riding along the float.  Also a good idea that can come along with doing a float would be to hand out brochures, posters, or other promotional products during the parade.  Please on contact Kendra Van  Hill at kendravh@myclearwave.net.

Brochures
Brochures were viewed as a way to get your message to a lof of people for a cheap amount.  They were meant to include your mission statement, pictures of students, faculty, parents, and extracurricular activities.  They also needed to be attractive with lots of interesting colors.  They should include information about the school and should attempt to stimulate questions about your school and what you have to offer each interested family and their students needs.

  Posters
Posters were highlighted because of the cheap price of posters and the mass customization available.  They were suggested to include pictures of constituents and they were meant to be placed at churches, business/grocery stores, high traffic areas, restaurants, and used in own facilities.  Other suggestions included using different sizes and placing them in newspaper inserts and bulletin inserts.

Radio Ads
Radio ads were seens as the most effective they included a charismatic voice complemented with music.  A new message or ad was encouraged to be used whenever feasible as ads tend to become redundant after only a few  hearings.  Including radio ads was also seen as a good place to increase marketing efforts for your school.  Also using Public Service Announcements as times to promote your events was seen as an effective way to communicate your events.  Some suggested times were rush hour, sporting events, ans other special radio events.

Nametags

The common train of thought was that people are relational and therefore we should appeal to the desire of people to communicate with one another by providing nametags to let everyone know who everyone is.  Nametags were seen as an essentail way to open yourself to the public.
