HEARTLAND CHRISTIAN SCHOOLS

CONSULTING / TRAINING SERVICE FOR 2009-2010 SCHOOL YEAR

Your dues paid to CSI Heartland Christian Schools (formerly CSI District 6) cover this service. Our goal is to provide all member schools with consulting/training for teachers, staff, and board members, at no additional cost to the school. (There is a maximum reimbursement of $1000 per school per academic year.) Here’s how:

  • Choose the person/topic that fits your needs
  • Contact him/her to arrange date and time
  • The consultant/trainer requests reimbursement for the following from the Heartland Christian Schools office (csi6@dordt.edu, 712 722 6216):
    • $20 per hour for preparation and presentation time
    • Round trip mileage (current rate is .485/mile)
    • Any meals and/or lodging associated with travel to the school

Reimbursement for this training is not limited to the persons in this list.

Check with your fellow Heartland administrators for additional suggestions for trainers/consultants. For example, some of our Iowa member schools use the services of Area Education Agency trainers. Schools outside of Iowa may be able to arrange to hire these persons on an individual basis.
